About me

My name is Carly Yee and I am 24 years old. I am originally from California though ventured to the UK for university to find a new perspective on life. I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of West London and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree. I also received my MSC Design and Digital Media with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh.

I am striving to be an asset to the design and media industry. With the advancements in technology, I am able to produce a more intricate level of design based on my creativity and artistry. I believe that social media's power to influence society is key for consumer engagement and brand building. Industries I am interested in include travel, not for profit, fashion, beauty, entertainment and the food and beverage industries.

In my spare time I enjoy discovering new and exciting places around the world. So far I have travelled to 20+ countries and documented these travels via photography. I love exploring different cultures, food, history and experiencing different ways of life.

 

Volunteering also gives me a sense of satisfaction as I am able to bring joy to others. I am on a journey to making my life more sustainable and eco friendly by choosing better products. And it is the little things that keep a smile on my face. Listening to music or going on a nice walk always puts me in a good mood. Life is all about the little things that make life enjoyable.
